Dates
Available dates for Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy: July 2009 - early September 2009. As well as these scheduled dates we run bespoke trips of any duration throughout the summer. Please contact us on 0844 587 3025 for details.


Available dates for the Lake District, UK, year round.


Prices
Our price includes all guiding fees and expenses, via ferrata equipment, full board accommodation in mountain refuge (twin rooms or 4 plus per room for groups) including self-made packed lunch, local transfers and airport transfers.


The price does not include; flights, airport transfers, beverages, via ferrata equipment, personal insurance, meals if taken in Cortina d'Ampezzo.


Groups discount
The minimum number required for groups is 4 and will receive a 10% discount. The guide to client ratio is 1:4.


For schools we have an extra dixscount, the guide to client ratio is 1:6, 5 pupils and 1 teacher or parent. The teacher or parent will only have to pay for flights and transfers.


Equipment
We will provide all the via ferrata equipment, including helmet, a comfortable sit harness with energy absorbers and gloves, you will also receive a kit list of essential items you will need to bring with you.


We offer a discount service for personal kit, including boots and waterproofs. Please contact us for more information.


Skills & stamina
This is your experience & level of fitness. We provide information for about the level of experience, skills, required to participate in a Via Ferrata trip. We also recommend base fitness levels, stamina, that will allow you to fully enjoy the trip. This information is shown on each trip page.


You must meet the entry or base level skills & stamina requirements, then adventura expeditions make sure these levels for all clients in a group are compatible. This is important for your safety and the safety of others in the group on the mountain. School trips are split into groups of 6, each group will engage in appropriate levels of Via Ferrata.


adventura expeditions reserve the right to remove clients from any trip or holiday if they are not suitably experienced,fit enough, or suitably attired to undertake the Via Ferrata safely, or present a danger to themselves or others. Any additional costs incurred as a result will be the responsibility of the participant, group leader or guardians and will not be reimbursed by adventura expeditions.


How to get to Cortina
Venice is the nearest airport. We organise a group pick-up at the airport, the price is dependant on the number in the group.
